Brian Farrell's Creative ClassThe Creative Class is an active and creative environment for artists, singers, songwriters, performers and those who enjoy music - open to all ages. It's entertaining, highly interactive and focuses on current hot topics of music as well as the new business of music. Topics have included: Choosing Songs for the Stage, Your Voice Among Mavens and the Media, Exceptional Performances, Your Music Team: What They Do and Where to Find Them, The American Music Machine and The British Invasion, Bringing the Vocal Chart to Life, Rehearsing for Stage and Recording Sessions, The Tipping Points in Music, The Future of Music, The Musician's Musician, The Lyric and the Hook, The Art of Songwriting and The Top 500 Songs. In classes, ideas are nurtured into being, questions about music and the business of music are analyzed, developed and presented in "real time" classes. The environment facilitates participants to activate their own learning through real time experience. For example, performance opportunities for participants are organized at venues such as the Cochrane RancheHouse, The Cantos Foundation, ProArts, the Ironwood and other Calgary performance venues.
